 WWII Doolittle Raiders, started as the 17th Bombardment Unit flying the famous North American B-25 Mitchell's

18th April 1942 - 80 brave men boarded the USS Hornet on a mission with the possibility of not making it home, with the intent to send a message to Japan after their December 7th, 1941, attack on Pearl Harbor.

These men served in Pendleton as the 17th Bombardment Unit of B-25 North American Mid-sized Mitchell Bombers.

Remembering the Doolittle Raiders and the Mission. April 18, 1942

May 18th, 2024 is Armed Forces Day, down on Main Street you will be able to Honor those that have served and those that are serving.

This is a family friendly event from 10am to 5pm.

The last Sunday in June is Mid-Year Membership Drive. 

We do an old fashion Ice Cream Social in the Park.

Join us for Hot Dogs and Ice Cream and purchase a membership for half price.
